The girls saw these on the way to Walmart and we thought it would be a great photo opportunity.

We walked for about five minutes and came to an area that goes underground. It was kind of like a subway terminal. Our guide Michael said that it was an underground bomb shelter that was built during the World War II time era. They have made good use of the space and there is an entire shopping center here.

When we went up the steps on the other side we were entering Walmart.

I will say that Walmart is not my favorite place to shop in the United States, but this was quite the experience.

Mung beans and peanuts

Flour

Rice

Breakfast Danish

Eggs are sold individually

Another interesting chip flavor - hot and sour fish soup

Hot foods - tofu?

Salad bar

Here in the meat department you can buy any part of the chicken

Living in the south here is something I am familiar with - pigs feet
They also had the ears.
Living in Savannah, I know seafood, but this was the freshest seafood I have seen.

Live crabs

Yes, these are for consumption.
We went to a Korean BBQ place for lunch today.
You order your meat and vegetables and they come out raw. You have a grill in the middle of the table where you cook your own food. The menu had some English and great photos. We pointed a lot and placed our order.

Rachel preparing the grill for cooking.
You baste the cooking surface with oil, then place the frozen food items on to cook. The meat is cut very thin. Our meal came with many sauces and condiments.

We placed our piece of meat on the grill and topped it with some seasoning. Our waitress came over and took the scissors that are provided and cut the meat for us. Apparently you are supposed to do that before you cook it.
This was one of our favorite meals. We will come back here to eat again.
