Next Destination

We have started to feel comfortable here in Beijing and it is time for us to depart.  We will miss walking out on Wanfujing Street and watching the men and women exercise, smelling the breakfast foods, and seeing all the people.

We had to visit this great little breakfast spot before we left.

It was just a man with a push cart that sold deep fried dough.
Yummy!

We went back to the hotel to wait for our ride to the airport.

Today we had only a driver who spoke no English, and no guide.  He drove us to the airport and dropped us off.

Robbie said "just like the Amazing Race".

We had very little time to find out how to get to departures, find our airline check in counter, check our luggage and find our gate.  All of this while not being able to speak the language and being in a country where lines and organization do not exist.  Did I mention that there are hundreds of people traveling this week due to the holiday?

Playground at the gate

Cool area where you can get hot or cold water.

Crocs!

We are on our way!
