The Power of Prayer

So every night, we do a devotion and our say our prayers.

We take turns going into each of the girls rooms.

On the night we are in your room, you get to read the bible verse.  You also get to ask for prayer requests and say the prayer.

Tonight we were in Elise's room.  After we finished reading the devotion, Valerie asked if Elise was going to pray.  I told her yes.

Elise said, "Why don't you pray Valerie?"

To which she replied, "Wo bu zhi dao" (I don't know).

"Do you want to try?"  I asked her.

"I only know one."  She said.

"That's ok."  I told her.

"Thank you."  She said, "Oh, I know two.  Thank you Daddy."

"Very Good!"  I told her, "You say the prayer for us tonight."

She smiled and quietly said.

"Thank you Daddy, Rachel, Momma, Sissy, Muffin.  Today outside play.  Thank you, Nai Nai(grandma), Ayi (Aunt) Lynn, Joshua, Cah-lair (Claire).  Thank you Jo-Jo, Jo-Jo Momma, Jo-Jo Daddy.  Amen"

Oh how sweet!
