The first meal we ate here in Chongqing was traditional Sichuan food. It was so super spicy that as I continued to eat it, I could not feel my lips.
Today we went to the Chongqing Zoo. It was nice and very clean. The weather was perfect.

There is a mall and grocery store right next door. We made a trip to get some bottled water and snacks.

These were our choices. Cucumber and Lime. Some other options included shrimp and chicken.

This is cut up chicken, bones and all. They took the entire chicken and CUT it in pieces. They did not pull it off the bone. Those are HOT red peppers.

We also ordered some noodles. They would have been better if they were not cold. It is hard to tell from pictures on the menu, we just assumed they would be served hot.
This meal had us all doubting whether our stomachs would "survive".

Here are some of the wonderful creatures that God made:

The animals were so close that you could almost touch them.

The baby lion cubs were adorable!

Who could be at a zoo in China and not see the PANDAS!
We enjoyed our day.
Tomorrow morning we will do paperwork. We leave the hotel at 2:00pm (2:00am - Georgia time) to go and meet our daughter for the first time.
Please be in prayer today and tonight before you go to sleep. We would greatly appreciate it. Tomorrow is going to be a day of anticipation for EVERYONE involved.
