We are still waiting. 

 We are waiting on our LOA. 

That is the Letter Of Acceptance. 

That is the letter that comes from China saying "Do you wish to adopt THIS specific child". 

 

Once we receive this letter, we have 24 hours to sign the letter and get it back to our agency so they can send it back to China. 

 

After we receive this LOA, we will be about

10 - 14 weeks before we travel.

The CCCWA (formerly known as the CCA) or to those who do not speak adoption lingo, China Civil Affairs, is implementing a new computer system.  This will allow for easier and more efficient submission of DTC (dossier to china), faster LID (log in date), as well as all of the other paperwork steps, etc.  Right now though, it seems to have slowed everything else down.  So we wait.
