Praying for HIS time

In January of 2003,
I brought home this tiny little girl.

Now look at her!

In January of 2007,
Robbie and I brought home this
 serious little girl.

Now take a look at this precious monkey!

So now as we continue to do paperwork and pray for our next child, I wonder when we will be able to bring her home.

That's the Million Dollar Question!

When?

I want to bring her home, but when?
We are getting closer, but when?
I have been praying for the past 5 years for this, but when?

I want her to have a mommy and daddy,

I want her to meet her sisters,

I want her to know the love of a family,

I want to wake her up in the morning,

I want to tuck her in bed at night,

I want to tell her we will always be there for her,

I want to hold her,

I want to brush her teeth, comb her hair,

I want to take care of her when she is sick,

I want to wipe her tears when she cries,

I want to hear her voice,

I want to tell her I love her,

I want to tell her GOD loves her,

I want her to KNOW that she is loved.

I don't want her to be alone anymore!

Please God bring her home soon!

"But when the right time came, God sent his Son."(Galatians 4:4)

So, God reminds me that
our daughter will come home....
at the right time....
at the VERY time GOD has promised!

  1. Came back again to read your LID, LOI, PA, etc. post and read this one first. Really encouraging!! I needed to hear it today...it is all in HIS perfect timing. Thanks, Christine!

  2. Molly,
It is really hard to wait for the thing that you really want the most, the thing that you have prayed for the most fervently, and the thing that seems like it will never happen. I get very impatient waiting for the paperwork of this adoption to be complete so that I can bring my child home! I constantly have to be in prayer. I am fortunate that I can look at the two daughters that I have now and think "GOD made me wait" and "look how HE blessed me!"
